Volleyball Recap: Fort Atkinson Takes a Loss

The Fort Atkinson Blackhawks came up short against the Edgewood Crusaders on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Fort Atkinson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

Fort Atkinson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Edgewood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Fort Atkinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Westosha Central on the 13th. As for Edgewood, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Madison West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Regents will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
