Isabella made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Maplesville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Red Devils since Wednesday.

Isabella has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Maplesville, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Isabella has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Chilton County on the 19th. As for Maplesville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Thorsby on the 20th.
