It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ashland can now relate to. They fell just short of the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Clockers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Devin O'Brien was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with one run and one double.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Ashland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they will take on St. Mary's on Monday.
