Volleyball Recap: Jordan Warriors vs. Seven Lakes Spartans
Jordan lost against Seven Lakes back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jordan Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seven Lakes Spartans. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
While Jordan ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22.
Even though they lost, Jordan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
Leading Seven Lakes to victory were Megan Chapman and Sofia Deuel. Chapman had 18 digs, while Deuel had 15 digs. Chapman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Seven Lakes, they pushed their record up to 26-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Jordan will head out to square off against Katy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is facing Katy at the right time seeing as Katy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Seven Lakes, they will be playing at home against Paetow at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
