Baseball Recap: Logansport Victorious

Logansport won the last time they faced Lewis Cass and things went their way on Friday too. The Berries walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Kings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Berries.

Logansport got a massive performance out of Camden Chapman, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave Chapman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Kitchel, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Logansport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Logansport's record is now 10-6. As for Lewis Cass, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Logansport has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger on the 3rd. As for Lewis Cass, they are taking a road trip to square off against Maconaquah at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Kings surely won't give up without a fight.
