Softball Recap: San Marin Comes Up Short

San Marin fell victim to Clayton Valley Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Ugly Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

San Marin's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Marin will head out to challenge Novato at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Alhambra at 4:30 p.m. on the 17th.
