Basketball Recap: Suncoast Beats Palm Beach Lakes for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Suncoast had won three straight games and Walter Brinkley did his part to make it four on Friday. The Suncoast Chargers enjoyed a cozy 64-47 victory over the Palm Beach Lakes Rams thanks in part to Brinkley, who went 9 for 12 en route to 24 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Suncoast pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Suncoast will host Santaluces at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Suncoast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 67.7 points per game.
