Shawnee Heights has gone a perfect 8-0 against Leavenworth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Thunderbirds will host the PIONEERS at 6:15 p.m. Shawnee Heights will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Shawnee Heights proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Seaman, sneaking past 2-1.

Nina O'Neill-Bolanos and Izzy Van Fleet scored both of Shawnee Heights' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Leavenworth's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Piper by a score of 1-0. Leavenworth haven't had much luck with Piper recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Shawnee Heights pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Leavenworth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Everything went Shawnee Heights' way against Leavenworth in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Shawnee Heights made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the PIONEERS have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
