After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Academy, Wake Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Falls Lake Firebirds get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on April 2nd.

Wake Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those eight contests. As for Falls Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
