Volleyball Recap: Terrell Takes a Loss

Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crandall Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Terrell started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 22-25, 25-8, 25-21, 15-9.

Terrell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Crandall, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell is set to take on their familiar foe Midlothian Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crandall will face off against rival Kaufman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
