Basketball Game Preview: Rockport-Fulton Pirates vs. Ingleside Mustangs

The Rockport-Fulton Pirates will face off against the Ingleside Mustangs at 12:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rockport-Fulton's tournament run continued when they took on Taft on Saturday. Rockport-Fulton came out on top against Taft by a score of 43-35.

Meanwhile, Ingleside won against King last Friday with 38 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Ingleside walked away with a 38-27 victory over Goliad. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Ingleside has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Rockport-Fulton, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Rockport-Fulton lost to Ingleside at home by a decisive 43-27 margin when the teams last played back in February. Can Rockport-Fulton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
