Grayling entered their tilt with Cadillac on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on Cadillac with a sharp  14-6 win. 14 seems to be a good number for Grayling as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Jessica Campbell was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with five  RBI and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Leah Kirmo was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Anna Wood, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs.
Grayling's win was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average this season. As for Cadillac,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Grayling and Cadillac will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings are set to  square off against  their familiar foe Boyne City  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cadillac will  challenge  rival Gaylord  at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
