Basketball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Takes a Loss

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-41 defeat at the hands of the Sonoraville Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-35 back in December of 2025.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's record is now 3-17. As for Sonoraville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe is set to square off against their familiar foe Coahulla Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sonoraville will challenge rival North Murray at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
