Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Naperville Central). They blew past the Bulls College Prep Bulls 75-23 on Friday. Given the Redhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Bulls are ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Naperville Central moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bulls College Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Naperville Central will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Metea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Metea Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Naperville Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bulls College Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
