Softball Game Preview: West Lincoln Bears vs. Raleigh Lions

The West Lincoln Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Raleigh Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Lincoln is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

West Lincoln fell victim to Loyd Star and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Pelahatchie.

Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-1. As for West Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
