Baseball Recap: Bozeman Takes a Loss

Bozeman and Bishop Snyder squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bozeman had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3. The Bucks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Austin Goodwin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Zirkle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Bozeman moved to 25-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Bishop Snyder, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

While Bozeman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
