Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deering). They claimed a resounding 82-34 win over the Massabesic Mustangs. The victory was familiar territory for the Rams who have now won three games in a row.

Deering pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Massabesic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Deering won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Thornton Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Thornton Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Massabesic, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Marshwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
