Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central Heights walked away with it. They never let the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. Give the Blue Devils' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Central Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Anderson-Shiro, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Central Heights will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Fighting Owls: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
