Volleyball Recap: Billy Hollingsworth and Nathaniel Stevens Secure Win for Upland

Upland's tournament run continued when they took on Chavez on Friday. The Highlanders/Scots came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders/Scots.

Upland easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16.

Upland was led to victory by Nathaniel Stevens and Billy Hollingsworth. Stevens had 15 digs, while Hollingsworth had ten assists and seven digs. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last 16 games he's played.

Upland's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Chavez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Upland and Chavez will both be playing Burbank the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Bulldogs on Friday, while the Highlanders/Scots will play them later in the day, at 3:45 p.m.
