Volleyball Game Preview: Sunnyslope Vikings vs. Millennium Tigers + Official Tickets

The Sunnyslope Vikings will head out to square off against the Millennium Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Sunnyslope is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Xavier College Prep, who was ranked first at the time (Sunnyslope was ranked 11th). The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Gators on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Sunnyslope took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Millennium suffered their biggest defeat since September 8th on Thursday. They came up short against Corona del Sol, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Sunnyslope, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-13.

Sunnyslope might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Millennium when the teams last played on October 1st. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
