Basketball Game Preview: Summit Sierra Spartans vs. Northwest House

Summit Sierra is 0-4 against Northwest since November of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m.

Summit Sierra is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were outmatched by South Whidbey and fell 64-15. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-7.

Meanwhile, Northwest waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Blazers 52-38.

Northwest's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Summit Sierra, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Summit Sierra was taken down by Northwest 70-36 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Summit Sierra avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
