Chaparral is 7-2 against Western since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chaparral Cowboys will take on the Western Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Chaparral knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Western likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Chaparral ended up a good deal behind Boulder City and lost 78-63.

Meanwhile, Western had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Del Sol to the tune of 71-44 on Thursday. The Warriors pushed the score to 58-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dragons cut but never quite recovered from.

Chaparral has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Western, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-12.

Chaparral beat Western 60-47 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chaparral since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
