Basketball Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope lost against Oglesby back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 54-20. The Wolverines were down 42-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Penelope now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oglesby, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Penelope will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neches at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Oglesby, they will face off against Blum at 6:10 p.m. on Thursday.
