Volleyball Recap: Haddam-Killingworth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Haddam-Killingworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cromwell Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 8th.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-19, 25-10.

Maizie Irons paced Haddam-Killingworth's offense, picking up seven kills. Irons got some help from Juliette Harriman and her 11 assists. Irons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Haddam-Killingworth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Cromwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Haddam-Killingworth is set to challenge their familiar foe North Branford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cromwell will square off against rival Coginchaug Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
