Basketball Game Preview: Chattooga Indians vs. Ridgeland Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Chattooga Indians will jump right back in to play the Ridgeland Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Chattooga saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of LaFayette by a score of 55-53.

Meanwhile, Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gordon Lee.

Chattooga's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Ridgeland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Chattooga came up short against Ridgeland in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 52-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ridgeland's JaMiah Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards.
