Basketball Recap: Bronson Takes a Loss

Bronson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Stockbridge Panthers 70-43. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Despite the loss, Bronson saw an underclassman step up: freshman Owen Losinski went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Spencer Losinski, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points.

Stockbridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Dalton, who went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zac Rogozinski, who went 5 for 12 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Bronson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Stockbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Bronson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-72 loss against Maple Valley on the 16th. Stockbridge has also already played their next game, a 64-18 victory against Reading on the 16th.
