Volleyball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb lost against Neuqua Valley on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Barbs fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

While DeKalb was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

DeKalb has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-19 record this season. As for Neuqua Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-13.

Coming up, DeKalb will square off against Metea Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Neuqua Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wheaton-Warrenville South on the 22nd.
