Baseball Recap: New Providence Comes Up Short

New Providence was the 7-5 winner over Dayton when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

New Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Dayton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Providence will venture away from home to face off against Cedar Grove at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dayton, they will head out to take on Brearley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
