Basketball Recap: Ronan Takes a Loss

Ronan entered their contest against Polson on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ronan Chiefs fell just short of the Polson Pirates by a score of 62-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Chiefs still had to take the loss.

Ronan's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Polson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Ronan has already played their next match (against Columbia Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Polson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on February 13th.
