Recap: Maria Carrillo Pumas vs. Cardinal Newman Cardinals

Maria Carrillo lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nathan Dipman, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Eli Jamieson, who scored ten points.
Maria Carrillo's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Cardinal Newman, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Piner will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Cardinal Newman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Rosa at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Rosa is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
