Softball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Campbell County Camels. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Camels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Campbell County, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Taylor has already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Deer Park on the 2nd. As for Campbell County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Notre Dame Academy on the 2nd.
