Recap: Lutheran North Mustangs vs. Greenhills Gryphons
The Lutheran North Mustangs were the 63-57 winner over the Greenhills Gryphons when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Lutheran North fell 62-54 to Greenhills on Friday.
Despite the loss, Lutheran North still got an impressive performance from Joshua Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Gio Lutfy was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Lutheran North now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Greenhills, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran North will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on L'Anse Creuse at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. As for Greenhills, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lutheran Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th.
