Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Has No Trouble Against Corona

There's no place like home for Chaparral, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Corona Panthers on Wednesday as the Chaparral Pumas made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Pumas this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

The win got Chaparral back to even at 7-7. As for Corona, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Murrieta Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on March 17th. As for Corona, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Corona Panthers take on Norco Cougars at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. They are facing Norco at the right time seeing as Norco is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
