Nixon proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Palmview Lobos, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since February 20th.

Giulia Garza spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits.
