Volleyball Game Preview: Somerset Academy Panthers vs. McArthur Mustangs

The Somerset Academy Panthers will challenge the McArthur Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Somerset Academy turned things around against Avant Garde Academy on Monday. They put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

While Somerset Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-21.

Meanwhile, McArthur made easy work of Hallandale on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

McArthur was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 26-24.

McArthur's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Somerset Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
