Volleyball Recap: Petrolia Comes Up Short

Petrolia's tournament run continued when they took on Victory Christian Academy on Thursday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Patriots.

Regan Kayser was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs and one assist.

Petrolia's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season.

Petrolia has already played their next match (against Collinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Victory Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Garner on the 21st.
