Basketball Recap: Mountain Crest Mustangs vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks

Mountain Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 74-52 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks. Defeat or not, Mountain Crest got some senior leadership from Tayton Martinson and Kael Muir. Martinson went 6-for-12 to rack up 14 points and five rebounds, while Muir posted 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Muir a new career-high in boards (four). Another player making a difference was Trey Cooper, who had eight points.
