Concordia lost against Riley County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Concordia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Riley County work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Concordia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bridgett Blochlinger had nine assists and six digs.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Riley County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

Concordia has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Southeast of Saline on the 4th. As for Riley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Marysville on the 4th.
