Basketball Recap: Ortonville Takes a Loss

Ortonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Lakeview Lakers and fell 83-33. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while the Lakers are ranked 147th).

Ortonville's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Lakeview, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Ortonville will take on Waubay/Summit at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeview, they will challenge Central Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
