Bound Brook waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Rutgers Prep Argonauts. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Argonauts, too.

Bound Brook's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-9. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rutgers Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Bound Brook wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-0 win against Montgomery on the 1st. As for Rutgers Prep, they have also already played their next game, an 11-4 loss against Voorhees on the 1st.
