Volleyball Recap: Hugoton Comes Up Short

Hugoton lost against Ulysses on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Hugoton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Hugoton's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-3. As for Ulysses, their win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

While Hugoton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
