Basketball Recap: Roxboro Community Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Roxboro Community Bulldogs had to suffer through a 76-24 loss at the hands of the J.F. Webb Warriors.

J.F. Webb found their leader in sophomore Daniel Wright, who almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Kentrial Young was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.

Roxboro Community's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for J.F. Webb, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Roxboro Community will head out to face off against Henderson Collegiate at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for J.F. Webb, they will challenge Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something J.F. Webb surely won't give up without a fight.
