Softball Recap: Mukwonago Takes a Loss

The Mukwonago Indians came up short against the Burlington Demons on Monday and fell 7-4.

Paeton DeGroot was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Mukwonago's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Burlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Coming up, Mukwonago will venture away from home to take on Oak Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Burlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waukesha North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
