Memorial took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on Lordstown with a sharp 12-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for Memorial, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ramani Adams made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other pitching news, Bella Ornelas looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero).
