While Homestead didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Gunn Titans by a score of 65-56 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs who have now won four matches in a row.

Homestead's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Gunn, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Homestead won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lynbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gunn and Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gunn is facing Hill at the right time seeing as Hill is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
