Softball Recap: Millis Takes a Loss

Millis came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-2 to the Norton Lancers. If the Mohawks were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Lancers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Keira Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Rand, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Millis' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norton, their record is now 2-0.

Looking ahead, Millis will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hopedale at 4:00 p.m. As for Norton, they will challenge Medfield at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
