Philadelphia Academy Charter took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Carver High School of Engineering & Science, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chargers skirted past Carver High School of Engineering & Science 7-6. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 8-0 win Carver High School of Engineering & Science walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Lutz, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jerry King, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Philadelphia Academy Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
