It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Wando ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the West Ashley Wildcats 24-21. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wando's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harris Stone, who rushed for 47 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 168 yards and one TD.

Wando now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Ashley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Wando and West Ashley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Warriors see the field they'll take on Goose Creek at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for West Ashley, their break will end when they face James Island at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
