Softball Recap: Bucktail Bucks vs. Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix
Bucktail's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bucks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Carrie Ditty was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ditty was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Bucktail got a massive performance out of Makenna Stone, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kendall Wagner, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
