Gateway kept up with Adams City until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Eagles never let the Olympians get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Adams City, who have now won three contests in a row.

Adams City's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Coming up, Adams City will be playing at home against Thornton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adams City are facing Thornton at the right time seeing as Thornton are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Gateway, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Skyview at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
